Cancer Season - a time to reflect

As we cross the threshold of the Solstice, you may find yourself wondering; what next?
Or perhaps you're reflecting on all the strange twists and turns of 2024, celebrating your wins but also worried you're somehow "off-track" with your goals and intentions?
You aren't alone. I think all of these questions and concerns are normal, especially for us conscious entrepreneurial leaders.
We have so much we want to achieve; so much that is important and of value for ourselves and others. It's a lot of pressure and while there are key moments where we do need to lean on our grit to push through, it's so important to take the pause around the Solstice to reflect, feel, rest and reconsider.
This is ESPECIALLY important the more we feel like we have so much to do and must do it all NOW. While there are certain situations that are urgent as well as important, much of the time things do not to be done immediately and for important things, well we can only take the next step.
Sometimes that's a big step but usually it's just a tiny step to move us forward. The hard part is not discounting it because it's small.
Honestly, I did not want to write a blog post this week. I am feeling exhausted after an unbelievably shitty delayed-travel day that ended up being days (THANK U, NEXT, #WestJet, for the unreal corporate pathology at work. Seriously?)
So keeping this one short if not sweet:) As we're in Cancer season, facing ANOTHER Capricorn full moon at the tail end July 21, if you haven't taken the time for reflection and pause, ask yourself what's stopping you? Christine Arylo brilliantly calls the solstices and other points on the lunar calendar cycle, “Power Pauses,” which says it all i think.
The cost to our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health is huge, even if bizarro world productivity measures declare "more, more, more and faster" is what's important and insist it's the only way or else SOMETHING TERRIBLE WILL HAPPEN.
Recapture your nervous system from the idiot systems that would hijack and abuse it for their own nefarious purposes.
